"My Campus Diary" invites international students currently in Taiwan to create a 60–90 second video showcasing their student life. Share your story and show the world what it’s like to study in Taiwan! 

 

πŸ”΅ Participant Eligibility

1.International students/graduates currently in Taiwan are eligible to join the event, including those who are currently studying or have previously studied at a college or university in Taiwan. (Nominees of the final round will be required to provide a student ID or graduation certificate as proof of eligibility).
2. The video must be newly created during the event period, and the individual submitting the video must personally appear in the footage.

Step 1: Create a short video (60 to 90 seconds) based on the required theme and any optional themes.
Step 2: Include the required phrases at your video ending.
Step 3: Fill out the submission form → Google Form Link
Step 4: Upload your video and license agreements.
Step 5: Subscribe to our YouTube Channel (@StudyinTaiwan) and follow us on Instagram (@study_in_taiwan)

Nominee Announcement: 20 finalists will be selected. Their videos will be uploaded to:

Step 1: Ensure you’re following us on both platforms.
Step 2: Make sure your Instagram account is set to public and accept our collaboration request.
Step 3: Invite your international student friends to watch, like, comment, and share your video.

πŸ“Š Video Submission Guidelines

  1. License Agreement
    License agreements are required from you and each person appearing in, producing, or contributing music to your video.

  2. Video Guidelines and Specifications 
     • You must appear in the video
     • Content must be in English (except for the required phrases)
     • Original work only; any third-party material must be royalty-free or properly licensed
     • Length: 60–90 seconds
     • File type: MPEG4 / MP4
     • Aspect ratio: 9:16 (vertical)
     • Resolution: 1080p or higher
     • File Size: No more than 1GB
     • File naming format: Your full name – Video Title

    Video must NOT:
     • Be shorter than 60 or longer than 90 seconds (slight point deduction may apply)
     • Include illegal, violent, pornographic, political, or discriminatory content
     • Infringe on copyright, trademarks, or personal privacy

  3. Music & Sound Effects
    Must be royalty-free and use the platforms listed below only.
     • Free platform:
         -   YouTube Audio Library
         -   A YouTube channel is required to access the library.
     • Paid platform:
         -   Artlist.io
         -   Envato Elements

 

⚠️ Additional Notes

  1. We reserve the right to terminate, alter or suspend this event and to modify the official regulations at any time.
  2. Participation indicates agreement to all contest rules.
  3. Keep your original/raw files — finalists must provide them if selected.
  4. Winning requires full completion of all steps; retroactive adjustments are not allowed.
  5. Prizes may be revoked under the following conditions:
     • Missing or incomplete authorization agreement
     • Participant is not currently in Taiwan
     • Missed deadlines or failure to claim prize
     • Violation of contest rules or conduct policies
