Thailand
FCU has an international atmosphere that fosters knowledge exchange with globally diverse professors and classmates.
I gained an MOE scholarship to study in Taiwan, which is a very safe country. People here are friendly and willing to help foreigners. Additionally, Taiwan offers very good health insurance for international students. Lastly, my aim is to further my Mandarin language skills.
I chose Feng Chia University to study international business in both master’s and Ph.D. programs because it has received the international accreditation of AACSB. This assures the quality of education provided. FCU has an international atmosphere that fosters knowledge exchange with globally diverse professors and classmates, and it is well-equipped with excellent facilities like libraries, co-working spaces, and a gym.
The co-working spaces at the university are among my favorite facilities due to their convenience for a broad range of activities, including study sessions, research, meetings, and social gatherings.
Prior to my arrival in Taiwan, I had begun learning Mandarin and have since continued to improve my language proficiency through practice with friends. Making new friends and exchanging experiences is something I cherish, particularly discussions about business opportunities across different cultures, which I believe is fundamental to my aspiration for an international business career. I acknowledge the challenges posed by language barriers, as neither English nor Mandarin is my native tongue, but persistent practice in conversational settings has been instrumental in my progress.
I also teach Thai on the side. Teaching Thai to others not only allows me to share my culture but also to learn about diverse backgrounds. My leisure time is often spent traveling and exploring the many parts of Taiwan.
Study in Taiwan represents a doorway to many opportunities. I strongly advocate for studying in Taiwan, which I consider the heart of Asia, offering not just quality education but also the gateway to many international opportunities. There are also a lot of scholarship opportunities for students seeking financial support. Post-graduation, I am inclined toward a career in international trading, confident that my experiences and connections in Taiwan will pave the way to a promising future in my chosen field.
