I believe studying in Taiwan will enhance my knowledge in my chosen field and provide me with valuable opportunities for internships in multinational companies.
I chose to study in Taiwan for its outstanding Mandarin language center and its excellent university education system. I was particularly drawn to Tamkang University’s reputation in International Business, offering programs in both English and Mandarin.
When I talk to my family and friends back home, I describe my experience in Taiwan as unique and amazing, something that can only be fully understood by living here. Taiwan, to me, is a different world, incredibly fascinating.
I selected International Business as my major because I aspire to delve into the business world in the future. What I’ve enjoyed most about my studies is the friendly environment at our school, making new friends, and participating in various activities and clubs.
Outside of my studies, I spend a lot of time playing soccer with the Tamkang Soccer Team and hanging out with friends on weekends, always keeping busy and enjoying their company.
My greatest learning achievement in Taiwan has been mastering the ability to communicate in Mandarin and holding intermediate-level conversations with Taiwanese people. The biggest challenge I faced was mistakenly enrolling in a Chinese course meant for local students, but I managed to understand and pass the course with good grades. Additionally, dealing with housing contracts and paperwork in Chinese was a significant hurdle, which I successfully overcame.
I believe studying in Taiwan will enhance my knowledge in my chosen field and provide me with valuable opportunities for internships in multinational companies. My plans for the future include joining a Taiwanese company to gain as much experience as possible. I want to stay in Taiwan because of its convenience and excellent infrastructure.
Describing Taiwan in a single sentence, I’d say it’s an amazing country. My favorite place is Tamsui, where the nature, charming coffee shops, and stunning sunsets create a mesmerizing experience. Comparing educational experiences between Taiwan and my home country, the differences are stark. Taiwan, being a developed country, offers superior education, security, infrastructure, and facilities.
I think anyone who comes to Taiwan for study or research will benefit immensely. The experience is enriching, contributing significantly to both personal and professional growth.
