The Inspiration from a Music Icon
My journey to Taiwan was uniquely inspired by my admiration for Jay Chou, a renowned Taiwanese artist. His influence sparked my interest in exploring Taiwan and its rich culture. I would describe Taiwan as simply “beautiful.” This word encapsulates the essence of the country, from its landscapes to its culture.
Choosing NCHU for Digital Marketing
I chose National Chung Hsing University (NCHU) for my studies in digital marketing. The field of digital marketing, especially aspects like advertising and fanpage management, deeply interests me. NCHU stood out among various universities for its strong program in this area.
Challenges & Achievements
My greatest learning achievement in Taiwan has been understanding and embracing kindness. This personal growth aspect has been as significant as my academic pursuits.
On the other hand, the most challenging aspect of my time in Taiwan has been the language barrier. To overcome this, I’ve engaged in conversations with friends and practiced my Mandarin skills at work, gradually improving my proficiency.
Enjoying Time with Friends
Beyond academics, I’ve had many happy moments with friends, exploring Taiwan and enjoying the vibrant life here. Taichung, the heart of Taiwan, is my favorite place here. Its stable and temperate climate makes it an ideal location, offering a pleasant and consistent environment for both living and studying.
I keep my family and friends updated about my experiences in Taiwan through Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. These platforms allow me to share the exciting and unique aspects of my life in Taiwan.
Future Career Prospects
Studying in Taiwan is strategically beneficial for my future career, especially considering the increasing number of Taiwanese businessmen in Vietnam. I anticipate numerous job opportunities upon returning to Vietnam with a degree from Taiwan.
My plan for the future involves working in Taiwan for one to two years before returning to Vietnam to continue my career. While Taiwan offers great opportunities, Vietnam remains my home and holds a special place in my heart due to my family and roots.
Comparing Educational Experiences
Comparing the educational experience in Taiwan with my home country, the most notable difference is the environment. Studying in Taiwan has provided the opportunity to make friends with many international students, enriching my experience beyond the classroom.
