Kyrgyzstan
Hi everyone! I’m Saule from Kyrgyzstan, currently studying International Media and Entertainment Management at I-Shou University in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. I moved here when I was 17, and since then, Taiwan has become a place full of growth, creativity, and opportunity for me.
Campus life here is exciting and dynamic. In my program, we work on advertising projects, photography exhibitions, group presentations, and even help organize cultural events. The learning environment is lively and hands-on, which allows me to develop both creative and professional skills. While studying, I also worked as an English teacher. That experience helped me build confidence, improve my communication skills, and become more comfortable speaking in front of others.
Beyond academics, Taiwan offers an amazing lifestyle. I love exploring Kaohsiung in my free time—from watching the sunset at Cijin Island to visiting the Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum and enjoying E-DA Theme Park. Traveling around Taiwan is easy and convenient. There are beautiful beaches in Kenting, historic temples in Tainan, vibrant night markets in Kaohsiung, and stunning city views in Taipei. Every trip feels like a new adventure.
For me, Taiwan is the perfect blend of safety, convenience, and endless opportunities. Studying here isn’t just about classes—it’s about discovering new experiences and growing in ways I never expected.
My advice? Be open, learn Mandarin, and enjoy every moment. See you in Taiwan!
