Pursuing a Dream in Taiwan

Choosing to study in Taiwan was a fulfillment of my dream to study abroad. I was drawn to Taiwan’s reputation for excellent education, particularly in research, technology, and international business. The emphasis on teaching and learning in a supportive atmosphere was a major attraction. Taiwan is a place where quality education comes from both quality universities and a conducive environment.

Choosing National Cheng Kung University for International Business

I chose National Cheng Kung University, renowned as one of Taiwan’s best universities, for my studies in international business. The program covers management, HR, marketing, and finance, offering a comprehensive learning experience. The excellent teaching atmosphere and supportive faculty have greatly enriched my education.

My greatest achievement in Taiwan has been gaining practical knowledge that can be applied in real life. It’s an ongoing learning journey that extends beyond the classroom. On the other hand, the main challenge in Taiwan was the language barrier, as most people speak Mandarin. However, the university’s provision of Mandarin language classes and English-taught courses helped me overcome this obstacle.

Enjoying Taiwan’s Natural Beauty with Friends

During holidays, especially in the summer, I explore Taiwan’s beautiful landscapes, from beaches to mountains, making the most of my leisure time with friends. That said, Taipei is my favorite place in Taiwan, offering safety, convenience, and an efficient transportation system. The ease of using a student card for shopping and transportation makes life in Taipei particularly enjoyable.

Also, when talking to my family and friends back home, I emphasize the kindness of Taiwanese people, the high standard of education, and the country’s safety.

Enhancing Future Career Prospects

Studying in Taiwan is undoubtedly beneficial for my future career, providing practical knowledge and skills relevant to the workplace. Looking ahead, I plan to work in Taiwan due to the comfortable, safe living conditions and excellent professional opportunities.

Educational Differences Compared to Home Country

Comparing Taiwan’s education system with that of my home country, there are significant differences. While education in my country is developing slowly, Taiwan offers advanced universities capable of nurturing talent in various fields, including technology and financial management. I’d say that Taiwan is an ideal educational destination for those who are eager to learn, ready to embrace new experiences, and enjoy studying.
